Eva Prakash

Eva Prakash is a junior at BASIS and the co-captain of the Shishkabots. She participated in FLL for four years, sparking her interest in robotics. Having been in FRC for three years, she hopes she can lead a team and help them succeed in tournaments, while also being a voice for underrepresented groups in tech in her community. Eva also codes, participates in speech tournaments, and absorbs herself in anything Marvel.

Nikhil Malhotra

Nikhil is the co-captain of the Shishkabots. This is his second year as part of FRC. Outside of school he plays the guitar, golf, tennis and is the Vice President of the Akshaya Patra Bay Area Youth Chapter. His other interests include chess, gardening, and cooking. In his free time, you can find Nikhil working on his college applications or hanging out with his friends.

Neel Datta

Neel is the VP of Engineering for the Shishkabots. He's been in FRC for a year now already, mainly focusing on mechanical and electrical engineering. When he isn't busy with robotics (or homework), you can find him making music, skateboarding with his friends, designing clothes, or playing World of Warcraft.

Esha Prasad

Esha Prasad, a senior at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley, is the co-lead of Programming for the Shishkabots. Aside from robotics, she enjoys dance, photography, cake decorating, and snowboarding. Esha is also passionate about giving back to her community and has been the president of her school’s American Red Cross Club for the past five years.

Monica Bellare

Monica is one of the Electrical Engineering leads of the Shishkabots. She’s a senior in high school, and this is her 2nd year in FRC. In addition to Robotics, she’s interested in pursuing Computer Science and has spent her last two summers interning at chatbot startups. Monica is captain of her school’s badminton team and considers herself an art enthusiast.

Mario Goranov

Mario Goranov is the Software Co-Lead of the Shishkabots. He has previously participated several years in the Tech Challenge, winning several awards such as 2nd Best Overall with the team which he led. Currently he also heads the BISV Competitive Computer Science Club, in which he works to prepare students for competing in programming competitions. His interests include video games, programming, and hiking.

Vinay Krishna

Vinay is the mechanical co-lead of the Shishkabots. This is his first year doing FRC, but he has experience in robotics from 3 years of FTC. Vinay is also an avid martial artist. He recently earned his 2nd degree black belt, and he also teaches classes and referees tournaments.

Gagan Gupta

Gagan is a Mechanical Co-Lead on the Shishkabots. He is a Senior at BISV with three years of experience in FTC. His interests include golf, cryptocurrencies, and programming. This year, he hopes he can help the Shishkabots build a foundation so the future of the team is secured for future members.

 

Travis Shao

Travis Shao is one of the Shishkabots' Electrical Co-lead. He has done robotics for three years and FTC for two, reaching second place in regionals in his first year.

Priti Rangnekar

Priti Rangnekar is a sophomore at BASIS and is the VP of Business and Operations. She looks forward to strengthening the team’s relations with businesses and local schools through outreach and partnerships with sponsors. In addition to robotics, her technology-related interests include mobile app programming, website design, and competing in hackathons and programming competitions . She is also a Director of the Vibha Bay Area Youth Chapter, and has created policy proposals as a representative of the San Jose City YAC.
